No Professional Boxing in El Paso November 21
An official statement from Texas boxing promotion Tejanito Promotions was finally issued today regarding their “Most Wanted” boxing card that was set to take place tomorrow.
The organization has decided to postpone the event due what the CEO was due to incidents that happened out of their control.

Tejanito Promotions would like to apologize to all the Media, fighters, sponsors, and fans for postponing the boxing event this Friday, 11/21/14. Unfortunately, incidents happened that were out of our control. However, we look forward to exciting fighting events this upcoming year, 2015! Thank you for your support, loyalty and looking forward to seeing you at our next event in March 2015. Have a safe and Happy Holidays! GOD BLESS

Originally set for the 12,500-seat Don Haskins Center in El Paso, Texas the event was scheduled to showcase El Paso’s Carlos Villa in his first defense of the Lightweight Texas Texas Title in the main event and El Paso fan-favorite Antonio Escalante in the co-main event.
Another featured fighter on the card would have been the most decorated amateur boxer in New Mexico history, Ayanna Vasquez who after another cancelled card will be forced to once again wait to make her professional debut.
