This afternoon the weigh-in for the first Resurrection Fighting Alliance event, RFA 18, to take place in the state of New Mexico will be held at 5pm inside the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Albuquerque.
The card is highlighted by a championship Flyweight main event featuring prospects Matt Manzanares (7-2) of Wyoming and Brazilian Alexandre Pantoja (14-2).
Saturday’s co-main event sees the return of one of the greatest fighters in eastern New Mexico history, Abel Cullum (18-6) who has been out of action for almost three years, against former UFC veteran Ulysses Gomez (9-4).
Also on the main card are locals Brenda Gonzales (4-1) of Moriarity who returns to the cage for her first MMA fight in over a year when she squares off against Wisconsin’s Heather Bassett, and Judgement MMA’s Adrian Cruz (5-1-1) of Rio Rancho, who looks to get back into the win column against Justin Linn (6-1) of Las Vegas, Nevada.
The public is welcome to attend today’s weight.
The fights themselves take place Saturday night at the Albuquerque Convention Center. Tickets can be purchased by visiting HoldMyTicket.com.
