Abraham Han Faces Veteran Juan Carlos Candelo for  UBF Intercontinental Championship at the El Paso Coliseum

The El Paso Coliseum will play host to a UBF Intercontinental title fight and undercard when the Sun City’s own Abraham Han takes on Colombian veteran Juan Carlos Candelo on Saturday April 5th in El Paso, Texas. Dubbed ‘Noche de Campeones’, this event will be promoted and hosted by Escalante Promotions.

Han (20-1, 13KOs), will be looking to make it three consecutive wins when participates in his third consecutive fight in his home state. Coming off of three straight losses Juan Carlos Candelo (32-13-4, 21KOs) should not be overlooked afterall those losses came at the hands of one time Texas prospect Raul Casarez, world title challenger Fernando Guerrero, and former undisputed Middleweight Champion Jermain Taylor in his last outing.’

Featured in the co-main event will be another El Paso resident, undefeated lighweight, Oscar Valenzuela against Juarez, Mexico’s Esteban Villalba (3-7-0). Valenzuela was victorious in his last outing against previously unbeaten Jose Salinas, in one of SWFight’s
Top 10 New Mexico/El Paso Boxing Fights We’d Like to See in 2014. The fight many felt lived up to expectations.

Weigh-Ins for the Noche de Campeones card take place Friday, April 4th at 2 pm inside the Holiday Inn Hotel located at 6655 Gateway West El Paso, Texas 79925.

The fights take place April 5th with doors opening at 6pm with the first bell ringing at 7pm.

Tickets run $25 general admission, $65 ringside and can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com, or www.escalantepromotions.com.
