FIT NHB travels to Oklahoma, Thomas Schulte Takes On Jerrod Sanders

The FIT NHB gym has been very active in the recent weeks with several competitors taking to cage as well as several fighters announcing big match-ups in the near future. This weekend will be no different as two fighters from the Albuquerque gym will travel to Oklahoma to compete in high profile bouts.

The Oklahoma MMA promotion Sugar Creek Showdown will put on show number 21 titled “No Surrender” inside the Sugar Creek Casino in Hinton,Oklahoma tonight January 25th.

Both of the FIT NHB fighters will be competing in featured bouts. King of the Cage veteran and an MMA veteran of nearly 30 – professional fights, Thomas Schulte (20-9) will have his hands full in his match – up with Jerrod Sanders (13-1). Schulte has traded wins with losses in recent outings but will undoubtedly bring in an experience advantage into the cage. Sanders is the former champion of the SCS promotion and will play the role of hometown favorite.

Clifford Baca will also will look for a big win of his own fighting for the SCS Amateur Title against Texas native Chris Pfiel. Baca will attempt to bring his gym the second title from the company, building on the success teammate Ray Borg found in Oklahoma winning the professional title at 125-pounds.
