Earlier today at The Blue Hotel in Downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico XFC held the weigh-in to their XFC 25: Boiling Point championship card. The tension after the main event weigh-in lived up to the cards name.
Things heated up when professional fighter Tara Larosa, a member of Stephanie Eggink’s camp, attempted to hand over what looked like a booklet of some sort to Magana and said, “Try not to get in a car accident,” an obvious reference Magana’s recent highly publicized car accident that miraculously did not end in any deaths. Magana immediately slapped the booklet out of Larosa’s hands appalled by the comment.
XFC officials made clear that the comment was uncalled for and that another outburst would end in a expulsion of a corner for Eggink.
The fight’s take place tomorrow night at the Albuquerque Convention Center.
