Tomorrow night Amanda Crespin will enter the ring with a heavy heart. It will be the first time that she will be fighting since the passing of her grandfather Arturo Ramon Crespin.

“’¡Tira Jodasos ‘Manda!’, he used to tell me,” says Crespin (7-4-1) of her grandfather. Mr. Crespin was a longtime supporter Amanda and her older brother’s Arturo’s boxing careers and even helped build the family gym in Las Vegas, New Mexico.

“He was always supportive of what I did,” says Crespin who will be facing Nohime Dennisson (4-2-2) Friday night at the Wool Warehouse. This will mark the third time that the two women square off. Dennisson holds a two win and zero loss record against Crespin who says se will be in line for an opportunity to fight for a WBC title in Mexico.
