Heather Clark leaves Albuquerque for Syndicate MMA in Las Vegas, Nevada

Weeks ago on March 28th, “Hurricane” Heather Clark fought heated rival Felice Herrig at Bellator 94 in Tampa, Florida. While Clark ended up on the wrong side of a split decision, she arguably had her best performance and her overall MMA game showed glimpses of dominance against her notable opponent.

The news currently however wasn’t the outcome of the fight; it wasn’t that Clark fought through a broken arm to finish the second and third round and it wasn’t the bad blood boiling over into a heated exchange after the final bell. The big update this morning is that last nights fight was the last for Clark representing the Jackson-Winklejohn gym and the last camp in which Albuquerque will be her home base.

Clark is making the move to Syndicate Mixed Martial Arts in Las Vegas, Nevada. She will join top fighters Mike Pyle, Amir Sadollah and Matt Riddle in the state of the art gym that features head coaches Rick Davis and Joe Slick.

New Mexico fight fans have had the opportunity to watch several of Clark’s fights live in the regional scene and while we enjoyed her fighting in New Mexico, SWFight.com would like you to join us in wishing Clark the best in her new and future endeavors.
