Fresh off the first defense of her King of the Cage Junior Flyweight title, Brenda Gonzales (4-0) joined us to talk about her second round technical knockout victory over Elsie Zwicker (6-5) at KOTC’s final event of the year “Battlegrounds” at the Ute Mountain Casino in Towaoc, Colorado.

Saturday’s victory is the second for Gonzales in as many months. From the beginning she welcomed the opportunity to go on the road and face Zwicker in her own hometown. Zwicker previously held an undefeated record of six wins to zero losses in her hometown.

Below is our interview with Gonzales. In it she discusses the hostile crowd at the Ute Mountain Casino, a possible upcoming boxing match in February, and tells us what people think when she walks around sporting a black eye with fiance, UFC fighter Tim Means.
