This weekend we caught up with Jackson’s-Winkeljohn’s mixed martial arts fighter Jodie Esquibel, at Gracie Barra New Mexico, to discuss her recent signing to Invicta Fighting Championships.
With Invicta FC, Esquibel will join an already loaded atomweight divison at the organization, joining fellow teammate Michelle Waterson and fellow Albuquerquean Angelica Chavez in the weight class.
In our interview with Esquibel, she also talks about her future in boxing, the state of women’s MMA and her admiration of friend and teammate Julie Kedzie.
