Monday Morning Fight Recap 10/29/2012

Here’s quick recap on this weekend’s local fighter action:

A strange ending to Saturday Night Fights at the Kiva on Saturday night to another wise decent card. We saw two El Paso boxers go down in surprising upsets but another El Pasoan Abraham “Abie” Han continued his dominance at the El Paso County Coliseum. Nick Urso took a fight on short notice and pulled off a huge victory to improve to 4-1.

How the hell has Michael Coca Gallegos never won a fight? Dude is a beast! It was great to see Cabral’s perseverance.

Jose Luis Sanchez and Angelo Sanchez would have made a great main event. The “San-I-Warrior” can do MMA and boxing all he wants as far as we’re concerned, he’s exciting in either setting.
