ALBUQUERQUE, NM.,-Friday night an all amateur card was held at FIT No Holds Barred gym in downtown Albuquerque. The 13 match fight card featured a mixture of eight boxing and two kickboxing matches.
A large raucous crowd packed the FIT NHB gym to cheer on their respective camps.
Professional boxers Victoria Cisneros, Josh Torres, Albuquerque’s top boxing prospect Fidel Maldonado along with mixed martial arts fighters Tim Means of the UFC, Brenda Gonzales and Donald Sanchez who has a title August 11th, were on hand to corner several of the fighters.
The next installment of Battlegrounds is expected to take place in the first week of October. Stay tuned for details.
