SWFN joined Matthew Baca and Hector Munoz at LA Boxing, as they prepared for the upcoming Golden Girl Promotions card on April 28th 2012 at Santa Ana Star Casino. Baca will be facing Andres Quintana, and both fighters will be swinging to keep their “and 0” status on their pro record. I asked David Baca (Mathews father and coach) if they had any concerns with Quintana’s size and reach, “Matt likes to fight inside, that’s where he’s comfortable anyway, the reach shouldn’t pose much of a problem” explained David.
Not only was media, friends, and family present, Golden Girl Productions’ Stephanie and Dominic also came out to support Hector and Mathew as they sparred together. The level of intensity seemed to increase with each round as the fighters tested each other. Get out to Santa Ana Casino and don’t miss this April 28th card!
